Last night I spotted a "false" black widow(Steaodata grossa) behind my blinds. I was going to put him outside (it was the smaller male spider), but decided to let him stay on the slider door. When I first caught a female I thought it was a black widow, (aren't most spiders until proven otherwise?)but have learned to identify them after a bit of study. Still, I do get nervous when I see them!
