Kathy - I love this post because I too have waited out honey bees at nectar flowers to photograph them bearing pollen from neighbouring flowers of a different genus. There isn't a lot in the literature about one-trip nectar-pollen gathering from different plants for "flower-faitful" honey bees.

What wonderful pictures.I would never get to see these amamzing bees up so close. Your site helps all of us appreciate the importance of bees. So often many react with a concern about being bitten. But they are so important to flower and crops pollination.It a worry that there have been reports of bee colonies just collapsing.
